Custom Yellow Supplemental Hill Grade Next Distance Sign
Hill-Related plaques or other appropriate legends and larger signs should be used for emphasis or where special hill characteristics exist. On longer grades, the use of this distance plaque at periodic intervals of approximately 1-mile spacing should be considered.
A supplemental warning plaque used with a warning sign shall have the same legend, border, and background color as the warning sign with which it is displayed. A supplemental warning plaque used with a regulatory sign shall have a black legend and border on a yellow background.
