  • The FALLEN ROCKS (W8-14) sign may be used in advance of an area that is adjacent to a hillside, mountain, or cliff where rocks frequently fall onto the roadway.

Guidance

  • When used, Surface Condition signs should be placed in advance of the beginning of the affected section, and additional signs should be placed at appropriate intervals along the road where the condition exists.
